AUGS TALKS #1: International symposium of galleries of Central and Southeastern Europe

During 24-26 April 2023, we held the First symposium of gallerists of Central and Southeastern Europe, AUGS TALKS #1, a two-day international symposium and networking event for the gallery experts, members of European gallery associations and international gallery businesses, with a program of exhibition visits and a cultural tour of Belgrade. AUGS TALKS #1 was partly supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia and the City Administration of the City of Belgrade, Secretariat for Culture, and implemented and managed by the Association of Art Galleries of Serbia (AUGS).

The two-day professional symposium on April 25 - 26, 2023, AUGS TALKS #1 was characterised by an immediate, vibrant approach to the Belgrade gallery scene, close communication with experts, various inspiring portfolios of the presented galleries, as well as good energy and collegiality of the member galleries. The focus of the project is on the concrete exchange of knowledge with world experts, which complements the existing expertise of gallerists in Serbia.

The accompanying gallery program presented nine galleries (B2, BelArt, Štab, Rima, XVitamin, Monolog, Sanjaj, Eugster II Belgrade, Viline Vode), their recent exhibition and publishing activities, in cooperation with partner institutions.
