The Currents of Italian New Tendencies

"New Tendencies '60" represents a kind of homage to the art scene in Italy in the sixties of the last century, which focuses on three exhibitions: "Gencay, Brtka, Franchini" held in Rome in 1964, then "Forme presenti" (Present Forms) also in in Rome in 1965, and the "Illumination" exhibition in Trento in 1967, where the group of the same name was presented. The exhibition "New Tendencies '60" held in the Gallery of the Student Cultural Center in Belgrade, presented the works of all the authors who were at the aforementioned exhibitions: Nobuya Abe and Shu Takahashi from Japan, Aldo Schmid ), Bruno Conte, Paolo Patelli and Antonio Franchini from Italy, Gencay Kasapçi from Turkey, Marcia Hafif from America, Milena Čubraković and Mira Brtka from Yugoslavia .
Catalog I FLUSSI DELLE NUOVE TENDENZE ITALIANE|THE CURRENTS OF ITALIAN NEW TENDENCIES, whose text is written by prof. Franco Purini, art critic Sava Stepanov, art historian and co-founder of the Mira Brtka Foundation, Miroslav Rodić, presents the continuation of the publications dedicated to Mira Brtka, and now in a wider context, it gives equal attention to all the mentioned artists.
