ŠTAB

Since its inception in 2014, gallery ŠTAB (‘shtab’, meaning headquarters) at the iconic space situated under the Branko’s Bridge historically connecting Belgrade with Zemun, is one of the most engaged spaces dedicated to contemporary arts in Belgrade and Serbia. It opened during the reactivation of industrial quarter Savamala and transformation of this area of Belgrade into a district of culture and arts, and it has maintained its role in discovering and promoting young independent authors, discovering talented artists from the region as well as supporting the contemporary, underground and art brut scene in Serbia. During the last eight years, gallery ŠTAB has organized over 300 solo and group exhibitions of more than 1000 Serbian and international artists in its various city locations.

ŠTAB are founders of several art festivals (The Balkan Art Brut Salon from 2016), as well as commercial artistic projects and platforms (Art Dragstor from 2015, Aukcija Savremene Umetnosti from 2019, Vinski Štab, Tačka Susreta, etc). Our Art consulting branch Brun & Brun is embedded in the corporate world of the top businesses in Serbia and the region. Some of our notable clients include Eagle Hills, Sothebys Real Estate Serbia, CWP Global, Radission Collection Hotel Old Mill Belgrade, Hotel Indigo, Strabag, Elle, Cosmopolitan, L’Oreal Luxe Adria, Sephora, Red Bull, Adidas, Nike, Heineken, IDEA, Galerija Belgrade, and others. As one of the founding members of AUGS (Association of Art Galleries in Serbia), we work on establishing a transparent model of art business in the contemporary art market in Serbia.
